The EDCFDA PRIDE COLLECTION Benefits Bring Change To Mind

CFDA: It’s Pride Month, and for the third year, the edCFDA Pride Eyewear Initiative is embracing an important cause. This time, proceeds from the special Pride collection created by seven CFDA eyewear designers will go towards Bring Change to Mind, an organization dedicated to ending stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health. The collective donation will target BC2M’s high school programs, as well as its LGBTQ+ Youth Mental Health Task Force.

“While it is the eyewear designers, with the CFDA’s support, who have piloted this outstanding effort, it is also a testament to the optical community – retailers and customers alike – who have embraced the importance of visibility for these causes,” said Gai Gherardi, co-founder/ designer of l.a.Eyeworks, who designed one of the seven limited edition sunglass designs. The others were designed by Blake Kuwahara, Christian Roth, Jeff Press, Patty Perreira, Selima Salaun, and Stirling Barrett.
